One thing I can truly say is my biggest fear is my sons getting bullied. The fear comes from my history of course and because, let’s face it, bullying is in today’s society is way worse than it was in the 80’s. Even the movie Carrie seems like minimal bullying compared to what some of these kids go through. I worry about how they will be affected and if they will tell me. My middle son has experienced bullying and I get fearful because I see so much of myself in him. He is so giving and just wants kids to like him which is understandable he is 8. It is normal for an 8 year old to want to be liked and not have to deal with being bullied. It is scary to think of what is to come with what has already happened, not wanting to feel like I am failing at protecting my kids. I teach them to be comfortable in their own skin but when people who matter more, kids their age, say differently it is hard to change their minds.

So I get it, to those reading this, I know how you feel but I also know I am going to do all I can to help anyone and everyone that I can.
