Cyberbullying. . . The relentless threat

Cyberbullying is by far the worst form of bullying there is in my opinion. A person can hide behind a anonymous name and proceed to attack someone publicly. It has taken so many lives across the world and a majority of the time the predator does not even know their target on a personal level. Even celebrities have been victims of cyberbullying and fans are powerless when trying to defend someone they admire.

The main difference between cyberbullying and all other forms is it can never go away. The words and images are there not for the victim to see but anyone the bully sees fit. A person is faced with it no matter what they do especially because of how large social media platforms have become. The images spread faster and wider than old school rumors.

I for one find it horrible to even see some of the things people even think to say about people they dont even know or have never even met. Often times the toxic level of it all makes me take a break from social media something I once went to for entertainment.

The question now is what can we do about it?
